Before broadband. Before standards. Before anyone had a playbook for what the web could be. Dallas in the late nineties was one of the few places outside New York and San Francisco where serious interactive work was happening, and agencies like DDB, Click Here at the Richards Group, and Focus2 were doing it for some of the biggest brands in the world. The designers who came up in that moment had to be everything at once: art director, animator, programmer, producer. Flash wasn't a tool yet. It was a frontier. The work was invented as it went. That's where this career started.

Designed the full experience at a moment when the web was still figuring out what it could be -- before broadband, before standards, before the playbook existed. Built with Brent Bonacorso, who is now a collaborator at Mise en Scène.

Built the creative infrastructure for the first digital out-of-home network inside Quick-Service Restaurants -- from 12 screens to 3,500 across McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Arby's, Carl's Jr., and Burger King. Screen-layout systems, three network station ID packages, animation supervision, sales collateral. Exited for $22M to Premier Retail Networks (Technicolor).
